neutron-plugin-nec software package provides Neutron is a virtual network service for Openstack - NEC plugin, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install neutron-plugin-nec
neutron-plugin-nec is installed in your system.
Make ensure the neutron-plugin-nec package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep neutron-plugin-nec *
You will get with neutron-plugin-nec package name, version, architecture and description in a table
